Kacey has had about all she can handle with the death of her parents, her best friend, and her boyfriend at the hands of a drunk driver. It is up to her to push her angst and anger deep down to raise her sister. They are all they have left for one another. Their tragedy keeps their bond strong, but at the same time is ripping their lives apart. Kacey cannot move forward in life no matter what she keeps telling herself.
All it takes for her to see that she needs to heal is a neighbor who becomes a lifeline for her, a four year old little girl, and one hot neighbor who only wants to make her smile every day.
Her relationships take a dive down then back up then back down. Eventually she is forced with the reality that she truly is messed up, and pushing everything deep down will only keep hurting her and those around her that she loves.
This book is a tear jerking ride. You will feel like you have lived Kacey's life as she has lived it. You will feel every emotion she is feeling. It will rip your heart out. It will make you laugh and cry. Definitely a must read!
