Review: After Tuesday
After Tuesday by Renee Ericson

I think we all love a story whose heroine has a sad past. Ruby's life is anything but normal. Her mom died when she was little and her dad has checked out with the help of alcohol. All Ruby wants is to get through her senior year and go as far away from home as possible. You know what comes next. Insert popular, hot boy. He comes from a well-to-do family. He doesn't know heart ache like she does. Of coarse, she is embarrassed. She keeps her family life separate from her school life. When the two collide, true love rings through... eventually?
I will admit that sometimes I have a hard time with teenage "love". We all know that they are capable of it, but they don't know the enormity of it all. I didn't have a hard time with this love story. It was realistic. It was heart warming and heart breaking. It was raw and open. And the best, it took place over a more realistic time-frame.
I would recommend reading this love story. I can't wait for the continuation of this story... I can only imagine what is to come after graduation!
