Review: Great Exploitations by Nicole Williams
Scandal in Seattle (Great Exploitations #2) by Nicole Willams
Release date: July 8, 2013
My rating:Revenge isn’t what the Eves are about. Justice is.
But when Sienna Stevens leaves Miami for her Errand in Seattle as Ally Andrews, revenge is the only thing on her mind. A woman scorned is one thing, but Ally is something else altogether. She will not rest until the man who upended her world is brought to his personal and financial knees. She won’t settle for just upending his world in return. She’s going for full-blown annihilation.
Ally’s barely in Seattle a day before complications arise. She begins making slips. She’s one error away from being pulled from the biggest Errand of her career when she comes face to face with Henry Callahan. Former lover. Current Target.
Things just went from complicated to catastrophic.
First things first, my rating. Let me specify the four stars. With novellas and books under 150 pages, I rate them on a 4 star system. So, in actuality, if this were a full length book, it would be five stars.
In the first book of this series, we were left with “Eve” getting the opportunity to exact revenge on the one who jaded her and caused her to enter the profession of being an Eve. We were left begging for the next book, well at least I was. I went so far as asking Nicole Williams when this book would be out because I couldn’t wait. Well, I loved this book. However, I will be waiting for what I want yet again… I won’t tell you what it is that I want though. I am not a spoiler. I will say that this story isn’t over. It is far from over.
“Eve” is tackling not one, but two, Targets in this short installment. You would think that would be too much for such a short book, but it isn’t. I won’t lie, I wish that these books were a little longer, but I digress. Yes, one of the targets is “Eve’s” ex and the other, a slime ball. I didn’t want to see his wife get what she wanted because I wanted to see him pay legally. He is sick and perverted and every bit deserving of being without a woman altogether! As always, “Eve” does her job. She is a committed person to her profession. Limits and reality of her situation will be tested and pushed. She always seems to come out on top, swinging.
To date, for the record, not a single one had gotten me remotely close to orgasm. None had even made my nipples harden. I would have found crocheting baby booties more thrilling, honestly, than having sex with any of my Targets.
One cannot deny that this woman always gets the job done one way or another. I love these books. They are different and unique. They keep you wanting more… Not many can write such short parts of a story that will have you begging for more like Nicole Williams has with this series!!
