Dead Dreams Blog Tour

Eighteen-year-old Brie O’Mara has so much going for her: a loving family in the sidelines, an heiress for a roommate, and dreams that might just come true. Big dreams--of going to acting school, finishing college and making a name for herself. She is about to be the envy of everyone she knew. What more could she hope for? Except her dreams are about to lead her down the road to nightmares. Nightmares that could turn into a deadly reality.

Dead Dreams, Book 1, a young adult psychological thriller and mystery.

Emma Right is a happy wife and Christian homeschool mother of five living in the Pacific West Coast of the USA. Besides running a busy home, and looking after their five pets, which includes two cats, two bunnies and a Long-haired dachshund, she also writes stories for her children. When she doesn't have her nose in a book, she is telling her kids to get theirs in one.

Right worked as a copywriter for two major advertising agencies and won several awards, including the prestigious Clio Award for her ads, before she settled down to have children.

Top 10 Most scary things, OR
These are mine:
1. Your doctor telling you your unborn baby has down syndrome
2. Your doctor telling you the baby you have in your body is dead and you'd better have a DNC or you'd get infected.
3. Finding out your baby might have tuberous sclerosis.
(Believe it or not all of the above happened to me for different kids and I sure am glad I DIDN'T listen to my doctors, as all the babies are fine.)
4. Rappelling down 180 feet in a bell cave in California.
5. Walking down a hallway in an empty hospital wing at 2 am all by yourself, with no one around.
6. Stranded without gas on a winding road to yosemite, pregnant 7 months and having 3 small children with you.
7. You baby's doctor telling you over the phone that it's highly dangerous for your two-day old infant to have a fever of more than 102 and, yes, your baby has that, and oh, no, her eyes have rolled to the back of her head!
8. Getting lost in a blizzard on an unmarked trail while skiing down a mountain.
9. Opening your eyes and seeing a room full of blood--there's a story right there!
10. Having your husband not have a salary for a whole year and he's the only bread winner, and you have kids to feed.

My 3.75 star Review
This book was a real mind-bender!  Not knowing who to trust.  Not knowing who the good guys are and who the bad guys are.  The twists and turns in this story will give you whiplash.  You will find yourself cocking your head, trying desperately to figure out the big picture...
I read this book in no time.  It reads quickly and may give you a slight headache from the confusion and mystery behind everything in this book.
I enjoyed it.... but damned cliffhangers will get you everytime!  This being a psychological thriller/mystery, it will keep you on the edge of your seat.  However, it is really confusing at times.  There were parts I had to go back to reread.  There are a couple of places where the author seemed to contradict something that had already been said, but I am not sure... I was a bit confused.  It is easily dismissed and the book moves forward though.
I am looking forward to hopefully getting the much needed answers in the next book... Well, I better get answers in the next book.  I was left hanging with nothing answered and more questions than I started out with!
