Excerpt
It took me a long time to fall asleep, thinking about how my heart felt, and wanted to jump out of my chest when TJ was inside of me. He looked into my eyes as if he could see into my soul. He knew my every need and desire without me speaking a word. I thought about every touch, even something as simple as the brush of an arm when passing each other. The way he held my hand in the car and when we walked in the garden, it was the same ache I felt in my heart when we were kids playing in the backyard and even when we became teenagers. The way he looked at me in his garage and the small quick glances at school made me realize how much I loved him. I was always in love with him. I just didn’t realize it, until now.

My Review
3 stars
I have been struggling with what to say about this book.  There were parts that I really liked in this book... Then there were parts that were, well, lacking.  I can't say this is a bad book and it's not a great book.  It is somewhere in the middle.
As I read this book, I wondered to myself if there was one writer or more than one writer.  There are parts in this book that are written exceptionally well.  Then there are parts that are.... juvenile.  The characters are adults.  Some of the dialog between them at times comes across as young teenagers talking.  I felt like I was watching a ping pong ball bouncing back and forth while reading this book.  The writing itself was all over the place.
Aside from the writing, the story is typical, yet sweet.  This is a sweet story of high school best friends reconnecting as adults and admitting their lifelong love for one another.  This is definitely a quick read.  It is sweet and heartwarming.  If you are looking for something quick to read that will leave a smile on your face and a warm heart, this is a book for you.
