Blog Tour and Giveaway: Eversea and Forever Jack

Eversea, a love story, is a Winter Rose Contest FINALIST 2013. Emilia Pisani of Simon & Schuster (judge) says "Great southern flavor!" and "Jack is an alluring leading man!"

An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt.

A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose.

A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both forever.

When his co-star and real-life girlfriend is caught cheating on him with her new director, A-list hottie, Jack Eversea, finds himself in sleepy Butler Cove, South Carolina. Jack hopes the sultry southern heat in this tiny coastal Lowcountry town will hide him not only from the tabloids and his cheating girlfriend, but his increasingly vapid life and the people who run it. He doesn’t count on meeting Keri Ann Butler.

Keri Ann has relied on herself so long, dealing with her family’s death and the responsibilities of keeping up her family's historic mansion, that boys and certainly the meager offering of eligible boys in Butler Cove, have never figured into her equation. But fate has other plans. Suddenly face to face with the man who played the movie role of her favorite fictional character, Jack has Keri Ann yearning for everything she has previously avoided ... and Jack must decide whether this funny, sassy girl is worth changing his life for, before his mistakes catch up to him.

The digital version of Eversea by Natasha Boyd carries a QED Seal: Quality, Excellence, Design, the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval™” for ebooks and apps. “This title has received a QED seal for quality in eBook design. It can be read easily on screens both large and small.”

This story is almost bittersweet.  It starts out with an undeniable attraction.  But we know from the start that there will be trouble and drama to unfold at some point...

Kerri tries her best to deny her attraction to Jack.  She is not from his world.  She isn't good enough for him.  Why would he want her of all people?

Jack has never met someone like Keri.  She is honest and down-to-earth.  She is more of a breath of fresh air than Jack new he needed.  He is drawn to her.  She is his escape from all of the drama that has pushed him out of his home and in hiding.  She sees him for him.

Once the drama unfolds, Keri finds herself heartbroken and alone, more than once.  She is left feeling jilted and used.  She now has to pick up the pieces that Jack left of her.

Jack has to do what is best for Keri.  He doesn't want to walk away, but has no other choice.  She will be ripped to sheds if he stays in here life.  The last thing he wants is to bring her into all of the craziness that surrounds his life and career.  She is better than that.  She is better than him.

Natalie writes this story with so much warmth and emotion.  It is easy to get wrapped up in this story.  It is one of those stories that will leave you thinking about it after you are done.  Yes, a book hangover.  Isn't that what everyone loves?  A nice book hangover that can only be cured by the next book...

A feisty small-town girl and the Hollywood star who broke her heart

An all-consuming love threatened by fame

One last chance at FOREVER

Keri Ann Butler's life changed on the night she met movie star, Jack Eversea. She thought she knew a Jack that was very different to the man adored by fans the world over. In the wake of his betrayal and abandonment, Keri Ann has had to pick up and move forward with the life she was supposed to live and has put off far too long.

Suddenly Jack is back, and his explanations for why he left seem more and more plausible, and his declarations more seductive. But being Jack's latest tabloid accessory isn't on Keri Ann's career agenda, no matter how much she is attracted to him. And how can she can ever trust him again?

Jack knows he let the only 'real' thing that ever happened to him slip through his fingers. And his hands have been tied to try and stop it. Until Now.

Jack is now fighting to save his relationship with Keri Ann, even as his crazy life threatens to tear them apart. Again. The question is, can he convince her she can have it all? And have him? Forever?

Picking up the pieces isn't always as easy as it seems.  Keri seems to be moving forward... Still wishing, in the back of her mind, that Jack would show up.  She needs to give up on that wish at some point... Her career is starting to take off.  She is enrolled in school.  She is moving on... slowly...

Jack has awaited the day that he could make it back to Keri.  The day when things would be okay for them to be together.  Although he isn't sure if she will have him, especially after months of no contact.  As far as she is concerned, he left her.  He chose his career and never looked back.

This book gives you all of the puzzle pieces that were missing in the first book... even some you had no clue were missing.  The reunion of these two comes crashing head to head.  Again, we see them struggling with their feelings and emotions.  Things are so messed up, will they ever be able to work things out?

This book, literally picks the first book up off the ground and slams it.  It is even more emotional and heart wrenching than the first.  It will leave you with yet another hangover, but a satiated one.  I know, that doesn't make sense.  But it will when you read it.  It is a little sappy here and there, which I don't normally like, but it suits the story line.  I really liked the ending to this book.

**My overall thoughts on both books**

The story, as a whole is great!  I love how it is told!  There couldn't have been a better way to tell them.  I thoroughly enjoyed both books and will definitely recommend them as anyone's next reads!
