Vicki Green grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and currently resides in Olathe, Kansas. Along with her husband and two teenage boys, she shares her home with her cocker spaniel's Shadow and Mocha. She has been working full time at the same Company for 35 years. Her life has been filled with the most loving and caring parents, who are both gone now but are still in her heart and mind daily.
Vicki enjoys reading Romance books which is what inspired her to begin writing this book. She has always admired Author's dedication and hard work. She had a dream that played out for over a year, came home one day after work and decided to put it on a word document to see how it read and that became 'My Savior Forever', the beginning of her Forever Series.
This is a hard one. I loved the originality of the story when I read the blurb. Well, to be honest, that is where the originality stopped. I had a hard time getting into this book...
The story just delves right into it. Wham, bam, everything evolves so fast I almost had whiplash! That's not a good thing, necessarily. The first part of the book felt like a rushed version of at least four other books I have read, aside from the stripper part. I had to force myself to continue.
I am partly glad I did continue. The story gets better. There is no denying Jade and Knox have a strong attraction. The key is to move past that attraction and have a real relationship. We know how hard that is in books. It's what we expect. The story is a little mundane at parts, but once you get past the rushed beginning, it does get better. The drama keeps the book going. For those who like sex, the sex will keep you going. There is more than an ample amount of sexual situations.
Overall, this book is average. There isn't really anything that strongly stands out to make it a book of its own kind.
