Release Blitz and Review for The Allure of Dean Harper by R.S. Grey

Subject: You’re a flippin’ idiot

Good morning my dear, naive friend,

I hope you’re enjoying a breakfast of regret and sorrow.

Why?

Because you sent me to work for Dean Harper, aka a control freak in a tailor-made suit. Sure he owns the trendiest restaurants in NYC, but c'mon Jo, his ego makes Kanye West look like the Dalai Lama.

He's the type of guy that only hears the word “no” when it's followed by “don’t stop.”

Working for Dean Harper would be like selling my soul to the devil…and before you say anything, I don’t care if the devil has punch-you-in-the-gut brown eyes and an ass to match. My soul isn’t for sale.

Regretfully yours,
Lily

The Allure of Dean Harper is a full-length standalone romance with overlapping characters from The Allure of Julian Lefray. Both books can be read separately. Chronologically, The Allure of Julian Lefray happens first.

After I finished this book, I sat and wondered what I would say about it. Is it funny? Yep. Is it sweet? Yep. Did it entertain me? Absoltuely. But beyond that I couldn't seem to find words for this story. You ever have that happen? I seem to have it happen more often than you think.

We met Dean and Lily in The Allure of Julian Lefray. I knew then that these two would have a book together. They are oil and water, sugar and salt. So, naturally these two have to be attracted to one another!

This story is written with so much wit that I could barely contain the giggles and chuckles. There truly isn't a dull moment all of the way through. Although, I found myself wanting to perform my own torturous acts on Dean for a while. He is a dick. A stuck-up asshole. His way of fighting his attraction to Lily is so mean, I wanted to punch him. Meanwhile, Lily is the sassy, take no prisoners gal. She doesn't take his shit. She won't stand for his mistreatment and undermindedness.

The push and pull in the story is what keeps it going all of the way to the end. I felt like I was watching a sitcom throughout the entire book. Rachel Grey has a knack for keeping me entertained. It isn't easy to keep an entire story entertaining, but she does it exceptionally well!

About R.S. Grey

I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things...everyday.

I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors are Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I'm a comedy geek and love all things funny. Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.
