My Review

I am going to keep this review short and sweet...

I was intrigued by the book's blurb. I thought for sure this was a book I was going to fall in love with. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Now before you sigh... This isn't a bad book. It actually is a good book, but it wasn't a book that I fell in love with like I had hoped.

The story overall is a good one. I just couldn't focus on it. It moved slow for me. Although the writing is good, it just seemed to be missing something for me.

I was hoping to need some emotional therapy after reading this. However, being the tough cookie I am, I didn't. I am very saddened over this. This story has emotional wreck written all over it. I just didn't receive it like I hoped. However, many others seem to have. It just may be me.

Overall, this is a well written book that I think many will like if not love. Don't necessarily count this book out just because it didn't do it for me. Not every book is for everyone!

When she isn’t enthralled with a novel or a gory show, you can find her in the stands loudly cheering on her boys at their basketball and football games. She has three strong beliefs in life; Vanilla cake and Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream should be a major food group, Halloween should be celebrated every month, and Harry Potter’s birthday should be a national holiday.
