Review: Love in Lingerie by Alessandra Torre

I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her.

The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants.

Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules.

Damn the company.
Damn our friendship.
Damn my fears.

5 Star Review
What did I read? I have read a handful of Torre's books. Each one has been unique and varying in genre. Torre definitely has an uncanny talent with words and stringing them together in a way that just leaves me in awe.

Those that follow my reviews know I am not usually a huge romance reader. The romance books I do choose to read are usually books that I fall for. This book is no exception to that. This book blew me away. It wasn't overly emotional. There weren't any major plot twists. But it had so much to it, I couldn't help but to fall in love.

Everything in this book was spot on. I loved the characters. They were so well developed. Their relationship from start to finish was pure perfection. The pacing in romance books is usually key for me. The pace of this story was beyond perfect. The slow build. The chemistry. The back and forth pull. It all came together perfectly.

I highly recommend this book no matter what genre you typically read. I can't seem to sing high enough praise for this book.
