I have been anticipating this book for so long, I dove in the second it hit my Kindle. I have always loved Shea's writing. So full of emotions and steam, I never seem to want her books to end.

 

Finally, I got to dive into Sam's story! This is definitely a bittersweet ending to this series. 

 

The book wasn't as long as I expected it to be. Although the writing was on point, per usual, I seemed to want a little more of something in this book. It was a little lacking in something that I can't quite put my finger on. I wanted more heart-pounding moments. I wasn't as taken by this book as I have been in the past.

 

Overall, this was a wonderful book. A quick read. I was very pleased with the ending to this series.
