It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding.
I should have ignored it.Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.
With a plus one.
And then my assistant accidentally mailed it.
Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.
When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.
But I didn’t.
And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what happens next?

**** 4 Star Review ****
I am not a huge fan of contemporary romance books. Every once in a while I find one that I truly enjoy. I can without a doubt say that I enjoyed this book.
This may have not been the best romance book I have read, it definitely was really good. It was a bit long winded for me. I do feel like everything that was accomplished in this book could have been done had it been half the length. There were a few parts I found myself skimming because they weren't really beneficial to the story itself.
I can't deny that this author is exceptional in storytelling. I had read one of her books years ago, and I wasn't a huge fan of it. When I picked this one up, I made it a point to keep an open mind. I am glad I did.
When it comes to romance books, second chance ones seem to be my thing. I am a sucker for rekindling love in stories. This one was one I couldn't wait for that happily ever after. I enjoyed the ups and downs these characters went through. The determination they were given to make what they want work.
Overall, I really did enjoy this second chance romance. If you're looking for well written romance that will leave you smiling by the end, this is definitely a book for you.
